A delicious blackberry smoothie packed with the goodness of berries and a boost of protein powder.

Need a fresh start to your day?  Try a Blackberry Smoothie using F-Factor Plant Based Fiber/Protein Powder.  Adding in some banana, frozen blackberries, vanilla extract, and Truvia makes a delicious, filling smoothie that is perfect for breakfast on the run.

This post has been sponsored, but all opinions are my own.

Who doesn't love smoothies? They are the perfect way to get some extra nutrition into your diet. Adding fruits and vegetables is easy, and you often can't tell they are there.

The F-Factor is a program created by a dietician for weight loss and optimal health. There's no hunger or deprivation here, and it's a program that can be done for a lifetime. For 20 years F-Factor has helped thousands lose weight, manage and maintain their weight, and improve their overall health.  Eating a fiber-rich diet is an important part of this program.

One of the products offered is F-Factor 20/20 Plant-Based Fiber/ Powder.  This powder is a delicious option for making smoothies and snacks or adding to baked goods.  Not only does it have 20 grams of protein, but it also contains 20 grams of fiber per serving.  It's also vegan and gluten free so it's a great option for those with dietary restrictions.

I love making simple smoothies out of this protein powder. The one I used was unflavored, but I can easily add my own flavorings with vanilla extract or cocoa powder. I can change it regularly and not get bored with the flavor. Technically this is a blackberry banana smoothie as I added frozen banana, but you could leave that out. They also offer vanilla and chocolate flavors.

It's versatile, and you can add extra protein with some Greek yogurt or bump up the nutrition with chia and flax seeds.  I love adding fresh fruit to make it even tastier once it is mixed.

Also try these Smoothies to lose belly fat fast.

Ingredients

  • Almond Milk - I prefer using unsweetened vanilla-flavored almond milk, but any milk will work.
  • F-Factor 20/20 Plant-Based Fiber/ Powder
  • Frozen blackberries - You can also use fresh but be sure to look for brightly colored ones with no mold.
  • Banana - I used ½ of a banana. You could also use frozen bananas, which I love having on hand for smoothies.
  • Vanilla extract - This adds extra flavor and goes great with blackberries.
  • Truvia - I like adding a little Truvia for a tad bit of sweetness, but this is optional.

Instructions

Blitz all ingredients in a high-powered blender and serve cold!

Variations

  • Add a teaspoon of flax or chia seeds for extra healthy fats, protein, and fiber.
  • Don't like bananas?  Use more frozen berries instead.
  • Change up the blackberries and use strawberries, raspberries, or blueberries instead.  You can't go wrong.

Equipment

  • blender

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup unsweetend almond milk (or any nondairy milk)
  • 1 scoop F-Factor Fiber/Protein Powder
  • 1 cup frozen blackberries
  • 1 /2 banana
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • truvia to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into the blender in the order they are listed. I like to add the ice and almond milk first so the protein powder does not get stuck in the bottom.
  • Blend well on high until combined.
  • Test the consistency and taste. If you want it thinner add more almond milk. Need it sweeter? Add more truvia. Enjoy with fresh berries!

Notes

You can use any milk - dairy or non dairy in this recipe.
Feel free to switch up the extract - try almond extract. So good!
